Terms and Conditions of Entry for the SPC Jackfruit Promotion [7th August 2020 – 7th September 2020]

  1. Information on how to enter & prizes form part of these terms & conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.
  2. Entry is open to residents of Australia who are 18 years or over (“Eligible Entrant”). Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
  3. The competition starts at 9AM AEST on 7th August 2020 & closes at 23:59 AEDST on 7th September 2020 (“Competition Period”)
  4. To enter, entrants must answer the following during the competition period on the submission form on the SPC website: In 25 words or less, tell us what delicious meal you’d create with SPC Jackfruit.
  5. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and reserves the right to disqualify any individual entrant or group of entrants for tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to the utilisation of techniques designed to exceed the entry limit, or for submitting an entry which is not otherwise in accordance with these conditions of entry.
  6. In the case that the Promoter finds evidence of tampering by the entrant in the entry process or the verification process, in addition to declaring any or all entries made by the entrant invalid, the Promoter may in its complete discretion preclude that entrant from participation in any or all future competitions of the Promoter.
  7. This competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the identity of the prize winner. All valid entries received during the competition period will be judged on their creativity and suitability. All decisions will be at the discretion of the Promoter and no correspondence will be entered into in this regard.
  8. Entry and continued participation in the Promotion is dependent on the entrant following and acting in accordance with Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities (http://www.facebook.com/terms.php). This Promotion adheres to the terms and conditions set out in the Facebook promotion guidelines which can be found at: http://www.facebook.com/promotions_guidelines.php. Any questions or comments regarding the Promotion must be directed to the Promoter, not to Facebook. The entrant releases Facebook and its associated companies from all liabilities arising in respect of the Promotion. Entrants acknowledge that the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook.
  9. The prize pool consists of 5 major prizes, valued at AU$100 each.
  10. Judging will take place at the offices of the Promoter 9th September 2020.
  11. The winner will be notified via email.
  12. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be converted to cash.
  13. Prize value is correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any prize.
  14. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

  16. In the event that any prize item is unavailable despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure within Australia, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a different prize item of equal or greater value.
  17. By entering the competition and claiming a prize, the prize winner agrees that the Promoter may use their name, image and photograph/s for publicity and competition purposes, without compensation, and agrees that the Promoter will own copyright in any such images and photograph/s and in all material incorporating the photograph/s.
  18. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant or winner, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant or winner.
  19. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, whether caused by infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
  20. Eligible Entrants must comply with the Facebook terms of use. The Promoter accepts no responsibility if an entrant fails to follow the applicable requirements. By entering the competition, each Entrant releases Facebook from all liability in relation to the competition and acknowledges that this competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook.
